We concluded the Allen-Bradley PLC-5 to ControlLogix controllers upgrade projects for the Bulk Additive Systems of two Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) for steel melting, having performed the tasks of:

• Survey of existing signals,
• ControlLogix chassis, power supply, and I/O modules selection,
• Allen-Bradley IFM interface modules selection,
• New rack configuration,
• Power, command, and signals multi-line drawings; and
• Redesign of electrical panels’ layouts.
